History

In 1958, a group of law-enforcement offers met and formed the Western Colorado Peace Officer Association. Since that time, WCPOA has provided training to thousands of officers and support staff at their semi-annual conferences. The Spring Conference is held in Grand Junction, and the Fall Conference is rotated throughout Western Colorado. WCPOA conferences provide training along with networking opportunities.

Membership is open to full-time peace officers, special agents of railroad companies, district attorneys, dispatchers, federal agents, fire department investigators, and support staff of the above listed agencies. We welcome membership from all over Colorado as well as surrounding states.

WCPOA Lifetime Members

Lifetime membership is awarded to charter members, and to any person who has paid annual dues as a member of this organization for twenty (20) years, not necessarily consecutive. Lifetime members need not pay dues but will be entitled to the same rights and benefits they enjoyed as either an active or associate member.

Due to transfer of records over the years, our list of Lifetime Members is not complete. If you are a Lifetime Member or know of someone who is, but is not included on the list, please contact us with that information.
