Conferences and Events

Western Colorado Peace officers Association works to improve law enforcement all over western Colorado through conferences aimed at improving professional standards through networking and training opportunities. We host several events throughout the year to fulfill this goal. Events are open to both members and non-members, though non-members will have to pay a fee for attending. For information about becoming a member, send us a message through the Contact Us page.

See below for information on upcoming events. Please know that you must pre-register, and if you are a non-member, pay the conference/training fee. Each event has a form below it which allows you to pre-register.

8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.    Registration / Breakfast

8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.    Training Session – Handgun Training: Instructor Patrick Doyle

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Lunch – Catered

1:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm     Training Session - Handgun Training / Fun Shoot: Instructor Patrick Doyle

Friday October 4th: Cameo Shooting and Education Complex

Conference is limited to 16 participants – participants must provide own handgun/rifle and ammunition (scholarships available for ammunition if needed).

Conference FREE to current members / $50 to non-members
