The 2011 Fall Conference was held at the Whitman Educational Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, with participants attending from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.  The first day of the conference featured training on Explosives Recognition, including an explosives demonstration, by Grand Junction Police Department/Fire Bomb Team.  

The second day of the conference, GJPD Sgt. Stan Ancell and CSP Inv. Tyler Tobias provided training on License Plate Recognition.  The afternoon session, provided by HSI Agent Steven Turza and local District Attorney's, concentrated on Fraudulent Document Training and Prosecution of Fraudulent ID's.

The conference wrapped up on Wednesday with a session at the shooting range, including a fun shoot.  Top winners at that shoot were:  1st Place - Captain Ed Clark (CSP); 2nd Place - Trooper Luke Johnson (CSP); 3rd Place - Trooper Matt Jakopic (CSP).
